New York—Swim and resort-wear were the objects of attention at a recent runway show held by TMG Style LA, but gold also got top billing, as models at the show were decked out in gold jewelry and accessories from more than 30 designers.

The fashion show—part of a gala evening hosted by Kardashian sisters Kim, Khloe and Kourtney of MTV's Keeping Up with the Kardashians fame—was held in support of charities Facial Paralysis Foundation and Stop the Violence/Face the Music.

The July 28 poolside show at Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica, Calif., brought together nine fashion designers, including Christian LaCroix, Monique Leshman and Ina Soltani, with gold jewelry styled onto each look as the primary accessory.

"The versatility, warmth and allure of yellow gold proved a perfect fit for this wide array of fashion collections," Duvall O'Steen, director of jewelry PR for the World Gold Council, said in a media release. "Only gold can complement every skin tone and every color under the sun. Its sunny radiance puts a confident smile on the face of the woman who wears it."

Models wore bold statement earrings, pendant necklaces, link bracelets, stackable bangles and cuffs in tandem with everything from casual denim looks to swimwear and couture gowns.

Jewelry designers featured included Aaron Henry, Amali, Aretina Arte for Gold Expressions, Arunashi, Barbara D'Oro, Carla Amorim, Carolina Bucci, Charles Garnier, Chiampesan for Gold Expressions, Coomi, Cynthia Gregg, Deborah Pagani, Di Modolo, Erica Molinari for Fragments, EuroCatene for Gold Expressions, Ferdinando Bucci, Fern Freeman, JR de Ballard, Lauren Harper, Lucie Heskett-Brem, Ippolita, Jeanne Johngren, Mattioli, Maya Jewels, Meira T for IDI Design, Monarch Fine Jewelry, Mulino D'Oro for Gold Expressions, Nina Basharova, Old World Chain, Orlando Orlandini, Pamela Froman, Roberto Coin, SuperOro for Gold Expressions and Uzca Jewels.
