Emmanuel Perrin to helm Cartier North America

December 04, 2009

New York--Emmanuel Perrin, most recently president and chief executive officer of Van Cleef and Arpels, will now lead Cartier North America as president and CEO, Cartier has announced.

Perrin's appointment will be effective Jan. 1, and he succeeds Frederic de Narp, who has resigned to pursue other opportunities.

Both Cartier and Van Cleef and Arpels are owned by Richemont, and Perrin has had an impressive career with several brands since 1992, including Cartier for many years, the company said in a statement.

Prior to his stint as president and CEO of Van Cleef and Arpels, Perrin led the brand in Asia, where he was CEO and representative director of Van Cleef and Arpels Japan.
